Senior Frontend Developer

CalorieTracker is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the user interface of our web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of new features and improvements to our web and mobile applications
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js)
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the overall growth of the engineering team
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and best practices

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with React and Next.js
• Familiarity with state management solutions (e.g., Redux, MobX)
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Nice to have:

• Experience with TypeScript
• Familiarity with server-side rendering and static site generation
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
• Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices
