UX/UI Designer

CalorieTracker is looking for a creative and user-focused UX/UI Designer to join our product team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing designs for our web and mobile applications, helping our users achieve their health and fitness goals.

Responsibilities:

• Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs
• Create and maintain design systems and style guides
• Continuously improve the user experience based on user feedback and analytics

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design for web and mobile applications
• Strong portfolio demonstrating your design process and final products
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
• Understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing
• Excellent visual design skills with a strong sense of typography, color, and layout
• Ability to clearly communicate design decisions and rationales

Nice to have:

• Experience designing for health and wellness applications
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic front-end development
• Familiarity with design systems and component-based design
• Experience with animation and micro-interactions
• Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
